Willis “JD” Hall


38 years in the electrical construction industry primarily in Utilities.

JD began his career in 1983 as an electrical apprentice then switching to Lineman apprentice in 1986. Achieving Journeyman status in 1990 in electrical and line work. JD joined Intermountain Electric (IME) in 1992 and started a new branch in Rock Springs, Wyoming in 1996. JD was appointed as a Vice President of SW Wyoming in 2010 and Appointed to the Board of directors in 2012.

Colby Decamp

32 years in Electrical Design, Engineering. Noteworthy career achievements began with power line and substation design with Rocky Mtn. Power (formerly Utah Power and Light). Electrical Design / Field Engineer, contract To Chevron. Began work with Intermountain Electric in 1993 and Appointed to the Board of Directors in 2014.

Chris Jepson

Chris started his apprenticeship in 1985 & started working for IME in 1986. After acquiring his Journeyman’s license in 1990, he soon sought his master’s license & took over as master of record for IME in 2000. He currently holds 10 different state master license’s used by the company for the wide range of locations IME works in. He had been promoted to oversee the Riverton Branch Office in 1996, after overseeing the Dubois Satellite Office for several years. He currently serves on the board as an officer for the company. His background experience is primarily in the large commercial area, with much of it in large education facilities. He has also worked in the oil & gas industry & in several industrial areas, with some limited experience in the power line construction fields.

JoLynn Hansen


Board Member

JoLynn joined the company in October of 2018. She came to Intermountain Electric Service with over a decade of accounting experience, including public accounting and industrial experience. She is a certified public accountant in Wyoming and holds a master’s degree in Human Resources and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, both from Utah State University. She is responsible for all business and accounting functions in the company. JoLynn was appointed to the Board of Directors in January of 2020.

Chuck Jenkins

Chuck has 20+ years of experience in the utility industry.

Chuck started his lineman apprenticeship in 2000 and achieved Journeyman status in 2004. He then moved to Wyoming in 2008 and went to work for Prime Power & Communications which was purchased by Intermountain Electric Service in 2016. Chuck was appointed the Powell Area Manager in 2017 and elected to the Board of Directors in 2019. Chuck has experience in overhead and underground power line, substation, and transmission.
